PILATES FOR GROWING BODIES CLASS
This Pilates class helps young performers build strength, alignment, and breath control to handle the physical demands of acting, singing, and stage movement. Students develop the stamina, focus, and body awareness needed for choreography, character work, and long rehearsal days.
Through focused mat work, breath training, and intentional movement, students build a strong connection to their core, the foundation of expressive and sustainable performance. Whether preparing for a dance‑heavy musical, an intense scene, or simply wanting to feel more grounded onstage, this class helps performers move with confidence and control.
Students will learn foundational technique, safe alignment, and core stability in a supportive, non‑competitive environment. As they progress, they build confidence, coordination, and body awareness through age‑appropriate challenges.
The class focuses on essential skills: improving posture, developing balanced strength, and building healthy movement habits that support sports, dance, and everyday life. Students also gain a calm, grounding space to reset, strengthen, and reconnect with themselves.
