PILATES PLAY CLASS
Designed for performers, this Pilates class builds strength, alignment, and breath power to support the physical demands of acting, singing, and stage movement. Students develop the control, stamina, and body awareness needed for choreography, character work, and long rehearsal days. Through focused mat work, breath training, and intentional movement, they build a deeper connection to their core: the foundation of expressive, sustainable performance.
Whether preparing for a dance‑heavy musical, an emotionally intense scene, or simply wanting to feel more grounded onstage, this class helps performers strengthen their bodies, sharpen their skills, and move with confidence. performance career.

Instructor Bio
JACQUIE CHANG: blends Pilates with her background in social work and humanitarian practice to create a deeply supportive, empowering approach to mind‑body wellness. She bridges mental healthcare and movement, using Pilates principles to help students refine technique, protect their bodies, and explore the interplay of movement, emotion, and imagination. This integrated work guides performers toward a resilient mind‑body connection that supports them onstage and in daily life, inviting them to see their bodies as storytellers within spaces that feel safe, confident, and grounded.
