CTLB’s Pirates of Penzance is an 80’s take on an 1880’s musical. If you’ve heard the show before you’ve never heard it like this! It’s a tale of love, betrayal, adventure and above all duty. So come join us at the Borgnine Theatre (855 Elm Ave, Long Beach)

Summer Program Registration Form

Summer 2025 Production - Pirates of Penzance

Rehearsals start Tuesday June 3 and continue every Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday from 5:00pm to sunset at the end of Marine Stadium (398 La Verne Ave, Long Beach 90803). It is recommended that you enter the park through its parking lot entrance at Appian Way & Nieto, then travel down through the lot until you hit the end.
Additional rehearsals possible on Wed/Fri for leads only as needed)

Auditions for leads will be held Monday 6/2 @ 5:30pm (but please arrive early - do not be late. Shoot for 5:00-5:15). Please prepare an operatic piece or a piece from the show.

Tech Week: M-F Aug 4 - 8 at the Borgnine Theatre (855 Elm Ave. Long Beach, CA 90813)

Shows: Fri Aug 8 @ 7pm, Sat Aug 9 @ 2pm & 7pm and Sun Aug 10 @ 2pm at the Borgnine Theatre (855 Elm Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813)

CLTB's Summer Program is for both Students (ages 7 - 17) and Adults (18 and up)

Registration Fee: $185 per student. There is no direct fee for adults, however, a Livescan will be required. (Further information will be provided after registration)
